To make it on the list, Local Market Monitor looked at cities with a population of at least 575,000 and considered factors such as local job outlook, and the average cost of a home. All cities on the Best Buy Cities List are experiencing growing economies, making them smart choices for investors.
Fort Worth- Arlington and Dallas-Plano-Irving are the top two cities on the 2014 list. Both cities offer homes at prices that are below their actual value, but have huge growth outlooks over a three year period. Further, both cities have experienced population growth during the last 3 years, and Dallas is number 5 on the list for top job growth.
With a growing economy, and home prices below their actual value and expected to grow in the next three years, this makes it the perfect time to invest in real estate in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
